With flexible configurations and enhanced technical features, the Robox Screw low pressure screw compressor unit is the perfect solution for a broad range of environmental and industrial applications. It delivers maximum flexibility by operating at optimum efficiency, and low noise emissions. Low life cycle costs
The cost of a screw compressor initially consists of purchasing the equipment and installing it. After that, energy, and maintenance costs round the cost of ownership. Equipment and installation are a one-time expense, while energy and maintenance are continuous costs associated with ownership. The Robox Screw ensures a high level of efficiency (> 75%) because of a wide low pressure rotation speed range, which reduces energy consumption. In addition, its robust construction and use of minimum parts contributes to high reliability and long intervals between maintenance.

Quiet operation
The optimum efficiency of internal compression, guaranteed by the innovative Robuschi rotor profile, means less noise during the compression phase. The low rotor rotation speed (max 6,000 rpm) and the absence of a step-up gear, guarantee low noise levels from the blower. The Robox is also enhanced with special silencers and a noise-reducing enclosure (also available without sound hood – WL version). These features also allow for easy installation in a variety of applications.

Its characteristics ensure high efficiency (>75%) in a wide range of blower rotations (from 100% to 25%) in any working condition. The high efficiency of the ROBOX SCREW plus its reduced maintenance costs guarantee a quick return on the initial investment. In most cases, 2 years on average depending on the application and the operating conditions.

Robuschi Tri Lobe Blowers RBS

Robuschi design and manufacture high performance rotary tri lobe blowers that meet any working condition with superior efficiency, low noise emission, small footprint, minimum maintenance, competitive operating costs and long service life. The Tri Lobe Rotary Positive Displacement Blower Robuschi RBS, is an innovative tri lobe rotary blower equipped with a special low pulse system to reduce pressure pulsations.

The cast iron, dynamically balanced tri lobe blower is a positive displacement unit with a pumping capacity determined by size, operating speed and pressure conditions. It operates with two tri-lobe impellers mounted on parallel shafts, rotating in opposite directions within a casing closed at the ends by side plates. As the impellers rotate, air is drawn into one side of the casing and forced out of the opposite side against the existing pressures. The discharge pressure depends upon the system resistance or back pressure. A pair of accurately machined alloy steel, hardened and ground timing gears maintain clearances between the impellers during rotation, resulting in 100% oil free air.

Lobe compressor blowers are constant volume machines and as such, deliver a fixed discharge against the system back pressure. It is important to have adequate size piping and large radius bends to maintain high working efficiency and low power consumption. Recirculating air from the discharge to suction may result in over heating. Using throttle valves in the intake or discharge piping to increase capacity, increases the power load on the motor which may seriously damage the compressor.

Robuschi Pressure Vacuum Model bearings have a lifespan of 20,000 hours, even under the most severe operating conditions. The rotors ensure reduced clearances, which increases volumetric efficiency. The gas seal on the rotor shafts is an exemplary feature. It ensures the flow of oil-free gas by a labyrinth seal coupled to oil splash discs.

Robuschi RBS Steam lobe blowers

Blowers For Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR). Robuschi can offer customized and optimised blower solutions for mechanical vapour recompression system (MVR). By recycling waste heat from the evaporation process, a well designed MVR system will improve efficiency and save money. The RBS Steam range can reach differential pressure up to 1,000 mbar(g) and vacuum up to 500 mbar(a) with a maximum flow of 13,859 m³/h.

They are rotary lobe blower groups for low pressure gas conveying, based on the 3 lobe RBS series , run by an electric motor through a special belt drive (GRBS) or directly coupled by means of coupling joint with or without reduction gear (CRBS). Robuschi RB-DV vacuum pumps – Tri-Lobe

The Robuschi RB-DV vacuum pump series consists of 3 lobe rotary blower used as exhauster, without overheating thanks to a Robuschi patented atmospheric air injection device. It can reach vacuum levels of up to 93% on a dead head – 28″ Hg without the need to water inject or heat exchange.
